Walls of Gold
I created this song around something I feel so many of us can relate to. Sometimes the walls we build to protect ourselves become so normal, we don’t even realise they’re still there. Walls of Gold is about letting some of that protection go. Not because we’re becoming weaker, but because maybe we don’t need to hold ourselves so tightly anymore. It’s about softening, receiving, opening up and realising we can still feel safe and whole without all the armour.

I’m Listening Now
Our bodies are often speaking to us long before they have to shout.
The tension in our shoulders. The tiredness we keep pushing through. The shallow breath. The hunger, the heaviness, the need for space.
We can so easily override those little signals and keep going until stopping is no longer a choice.
This song is about learning to listen earlier. Not seeing the body as something to control or push past, but as something intelligent that is constantly giving us information. Sometimes self-care can be really simple.
Ten percent less effort.
One breath more space.
A cup of tea.
A little rest.
Saying “enough for today.”
And trusting that listening to ourselves doesn’t make us weaker. It gives us more choice in how we live.

It Feels Good to Be Alive
I created this song around something I feel many of us forget how to do… To actually let life feel good.
Not because we’ve achieved something or because everything is finally sorted. Just because we’re here. The warmth of the sun on your skin. A really good cup of tea. Music moving through your body. Wearing something because you love how it feels. Dancing when no one is watching. Wanting something simply because you want it.
It Feels Good to Be Alive is about coming back into the body and allowing ourselves to experience pleasure without rushing past it, controlling it, postponing it or turning it into something we have to deserve. Maybe sometimes the invitation is simply to stop watching life from a distance and let ourselves be fully in it.
To want, to feel, to receive, to enjoy, and to allow pleasure to move through us.

Both Are Mine
Both Are Mine is about the parts of us we’re often taught to separate, or be one or the other. This song is about what happens when the wounded feminine and wounded masculine energies start to heal.
The feminine energy no longer has to abandon herself to be loved.
The masculine energy no longer has to control everything to feel safe.
Both get to heal.
This song was inspired by this inner union, the moment we stop leaving half of ourselves behind and begin to hold both energies within us.
The soft part and the strong part.
The part that feels and the part that holds.
The part that receives and the part that creates structure.

Rebuild Again
Rebuild Again is about what happens when you’ve learned to expect the ending before the good thing has even had a chance to fully arrive.
It’s about watching the tide while you’re still building the castle. When enough things have fallen apart, it can become easy to mistake bracing for wisdom. To leave joy before joy can leave you. To rehearse the goodbye so the loss might hurt less.
This song is about the shift that comes when you realise the past was never a promise of what comes next. Maybe the real proof was never that things fall apart. Maybe the proof was that you know how to rise. You know how to rebuild. And because of this, you no longer have to lose today preparing for tomorrow.
